The Village Mystic is the latest dreamchild from Sister Starborne. The Village Mystic is a shop and studio for the creative + mystic arts, dedicated to nurturing craftsmanship, and peaking your cosmic curiosity.

Part storefront, part astrology/tarot reading nook, and home of Sister Starborne’s creative studio, it is a magical place where all things creative and mystical can be celebrated & explored.

The Village Mystic is also the proud flagship location of We the Starborne features a carefully-curated selection of ethically sourced crystals and ritual goods.

To make the most of your visit, 1:1 Astrology & Tarot/Oracle Readings are available with Sister Starborne herself.

Most days you can catch Sister Starborne’s creative process while she crafts one-of-a-kind handmade clothing, homegoods, jewelry and bespoke ritual tools and art made from heirloom and natural materials in-house.

Hello! A real-life message from a real-life human ◡̈

The Village Mystic is run by a real life human named Cait. Cait lives in the Twin Cities (~1.5 hrs away) and occasionally, like all real-life humans, has unexpected things come up that MAY interfere with the regular shop hours posted on very NON-human things – like Google.

Things include:

  • family/personal obligations

  • the need for rest and/or a self-care day

  • getting sick :(

  • Merlin the shop dog getting out & having to chase him around the block (it happens)

  • getting stuck behind a tractor on the Great River Road going >25mph with no passing zones

  • bad weather, car troubles etc.

Soooo, if you arrive at The Village Mystic expecting to find Cait and she is not here – rest assured, it is not a personal assault or a disrespect to your time, it simply is a human experiencing human things.

Before you write an angsty Google Review or drop a snarky comment on our instagram (which Cait will definitely read and remember you for), put on your empathy shoes and remember that people are people and things happen.

The Village Mystic will be here for you when it’s meant to.

And maybe that’s not today.
